Q. If there's only one thing I'm interested in buying, do I have to stay all day and wait to bid for it?
A. No - you can leave a commission bid or phone bid.

Q. What is a commission bid?
A. A commission bid is where you provide us with details of the items you wish to bid for along with a maximum price that you are willing to pay and we will bid for you up to that price. This service is free.

Q. Do I have to take my purchases away on the day of the sale?
A. Yes - the latest time the auction stays open to is 4pm for collection otherwise you will be charged for storage of your purchases until the following month's auction.

Q. Will you deliver items?
A. Yes - there is a charge.

Q. Can I return a purchase?
A. All items are sold as seen.

Q. Can I make a bid prior to the sale?
A. Yes - you can put in a bid via phone or in person during opening auction hours or before the auction starts on sale days.

Q. Do you do house clearances?
A. Yes - we will view free of charge.

Q. Can I put a reserve price on an item I want to sell?
A. Yes - you can specify the lowest bid you will accept, provided this is realistic.

Q. What commission do you charge?
A. Normally a fixed 18% but this can vary according to items sold There will be additional costs on selected Police lots.

Q. Can your staff help me to load my items in to my vehicle?
A. Purchasers buy lots where they lie and must bring any necessary labour, lifting tackle and equipment in order to remove their lots. Porting staff are NOT available to assist, only to supervise. We DO NOT provide trolleys or lifting equipment.

Q. When does the catalogue go online?
A. The catalogue goes online on Thursday evening of the auction week.

Q. What is your lotting Fee?
A. We charge a lotting fee of £2 per lot, sold or unsold.
